Ingredients:
1lb stewing beef 1Tbsp flour 2 cups cubed turnips 2 cups cubed carrots 1 cup sliced onions 1 1/2 cups water 2 bouillon cubes or sachets (reduced sodium) 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar 3 Tbsp ketchup 4 tsp mustard 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 2 Tbsp flour 3 Tbsp cold water
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, toss beef cubes with flour. Place in crockpot. Add vegetables.
2. In a bowl, blend together water, bouillon, vinegar, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Add to crockpot. Cook coered on Low heat setting for 9 hours.
3. In a bowl, whisk together flour and water. Add flour mixture to stew and gently stir until blended. Increase crockpot heat setting to High and cook for another 15 minutes until thickened.
